Ed the Word featuring i.tink. WE had an amazing party at our home in Santa Monica, CA. DJ Love45 was rocking the turntables, our friends and family were dancing their asses off. We wrote this song to express the fun, the joy, the hope, in doing what we love and getting paid to do it. EdwOrd is inspired by Richard Branson, Warren Buffett, Steve Jobs, and the Dalai Lama. There are many more people who have informed the belief, such as Michael Beckwith, Jerry and Esther Hicks, the Teachings of Abraham, and Wayne Dyer. What has emerged is an understanding that showing up and being heard, from a deep, authentic place is the key to living a rich, fulfilled life. The song brings together the Soul of Soul music, folk music and combines it with the attitude of hip hop which proclaims that it is okay to get paid. From Too Short, to Run DMC, to Bob Dylan, to Sonny and Cher, this song is about showing up authentically, living life on purpose, and getting paid to do it the way it is meant to be done. “Life is wonderful and money comes easy.
